Ivy growing on trees is often thought to be a serious problem, endangering the health of even very large trees. However, its presence on the trunk is not damaging. Ivy growth can however hide underlying problems with the structural integrity of a tree. For this reason it may be worth removing it. We are often asked to remove ivy from buildings and roofs. We generally undertake this operation using our MEWP where access allows.
